Unsinkable Affection

While off sick, I stumbled across the webcomic Buttercup Festival. It's a largely nonsensical comic centered on absurdist comedy and non-sequitor punchlines.

While the comic contains all sorts of random and quotable lines (among my favourites being one of the fear of Marxist spaghetti), one strip in particular was very interesting to me. I'd explain it, but I think it would be better to just give it a look. This wallpaper was made from the last panel.

This wallpaper is pretty simple and minimalistic. I discovered that Inkscape has the eldritch ability to automatically trace bitmap images and make them into vectors, so creating this was pretty simple. I imagine I'll be doing a lot more work in vectors now that I know about this feature.
